Wollongong man charged for allegedly assaulting Good Samaritan

A 44-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted a man who tried to intervene during an attack on a woman in Wollongong.
Police allege the 44-year-old assaulted a second man in his 60s after he tried to stop the first man from assaulting a woman on October 25.
The 44-year-old was arrested on Monday afternoon and charged with assault.
