Man charged over 2013 Sydney shooting
A man has been arrested after a teenager was shot in the thigh in Sydney last year.
Police say a 19-year-old man was shot at a party at Grainger Avenue in Mount Pritchard on June 15, 2013.
The man was treated for a gunshot wound to his right thigh.
Strike Force Bolali, formed to investigate the shooting in a public place, made an arrest on Tuesday.
A 19-year-old Prestons man was charged with discharging a firearm with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
He was also charged with recruiting persons to engage in criminal activity and affray.
A police spokeswoman said the accused did not have links to the Brothers for Life gang or outlaw motorcycle gangs.
The man was granted bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on March 12.
