Man charged for Sydney inner west stabbing

A man has been charged with malicious wounding over a stabbing in Sydney's inner west.
Police say they were called to a unit in Marrickville at about 7.15pm (AEDT) on Tuesday where they found a man with a stab wound in his abdomen, apparently received during an argument with another man.
The 53-year-old was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment.

Police found a 47-year-old man with head injuries nearby a short time later and he was also taken to hospital for treatment.
He was arrested after being released from hospital on Wednesday evening and charged with malicious wounding.
The man was refused bail to appear at Newtown Local Court on Thursday.
