A 20-year-old man will face court next week after he allegedly drunk drove into 10 parked cars in Sydney's south overnight.

About 11.25pm yesterday, police attended West Street, South Hurstville, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

The P-plate driver allegedly collided with 10 cars that were parked in the street.

P-platers must have zero alcohol in their system but police say this young man blew a blood-alcohol content of 0.138 at the scene.

The 20-year-old man was charged with mid-range drink driving and his licence was suspended on the spot.

One neighbour whose car was damaged told 9News the situation was "pretty infuriating".

"It's a good thing I wasn't in the car, It could've been a lot worse," he said.

Another neighbour said it was "not the greatest way to wake up on a Sunday morning."

No injuries were reported but the driver was accused of threatening a resident who first confronted him.

He will appear in court on Tuesday, May 10, on the drink-driving charge and another of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
