Man charged after allegedly stabbing parents at their home in Oatlands in Sydney's northwest

A 21-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing his parents at their home in Sydney's northwest in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Former King's School student David Anderson was arrested at the Oatlands home after allegedly stabbing his father and wounding his mother about 4am.
The 55-year-old father suffered serious stab wounds and the 53-year-old mother had facial injuries, police say.
They were taken to Westmead Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
The 21-year-old spent yesterday at Parramatta police station, but had to take a "time out" because he wasn't in a condition to be interviewed, a NSW police spokeswoman said.
He had allegedly taken ice before the attack, according to reports.
Mr Anderson has been charged with a string of offences including wounding with intent to murder, two counts of wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and use carriage service to threaten to kill.
He will appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.
