Charge dropped against top SA doctor's alleged murderer
The alleged murderer of top Adelaide doctor Michael Yung has had a separate charge against him dropped as prosecutors finalised charges against him and his co-accused girlfriend.
Kerem Aydin, 23, remains accused of murdering the respected pediatrician in a violent home invasion at Gilberton in Adelaide's inner-north in December.
He beamed into Adelaide Magistrates Court via audio-visual link on Wednesday while Jacinta Davila, the mother of his child, appeared in court in person for the first time.

Aydin is also accused of aggravated serious criminal trespass in a residence but a separate charge of trespassing with the intention of stealing property worth more than $30,000 was dropped.
Davila is accused of assisting Aydin cover up the crime by attempting to wash blood from clothing found at the couple's Thebarton home.
She was initially also charged with murder and trespassing but those charges were dropped in December.
The 27-year-old was released on bail at the time so she could take care of the couple's young son.

Davila, dressed in all black and wearing a gold crucifix necklace, appeared without a lawyer and asked for an adjournment while she waits for legal aid documents to be processed.
Chief Magistrate Mary-Louise Hribal urged her to continue to seek legal representation as the remaining charge against her was a "serious matter".
She scheduled the pair to return to court for a committal hearing in May.
They will then appear in court in September to answer their charges.
Prosecutors told Hribal they were confident a post-mortem and a DNA analysis report would be completed by the September hearing.
