Man accused of drugging and raping Tinder date fronts court
A jury has retired to consider its verdict in the case of a man charged with drugging and raping a woman he met on Tinder.
Jon Dennis Gurney met his alleged victim on the online dating application in 2019.
The court heard the pair had an argument after a night out drinking, after they met in person earlier that week.

Crown prosecutors told the court Gurney told the woman he had put MDMA into her drink, telling her, "I hope you enjoyed that last drink because we are going to have some fun when we get home".
The woman says she was raped by Gurney in her home later that night.
The court heard he left a post-it at the house when he left the next day saying "Sorry babe".
Gurney has pleaded not guilty to all three charges, which include two counts of rape and one count of administering a drug with attempt to stupify.
The trial continues.
