Man, 70, charged with assaulting teen girl

A 70-year-old man from the NSW Southern Highlands has been charged with numerous sexual offences against a teenage girl.
Police say the Mittagong man allegedly indecently and sexually assaulted the girl on a number of occasions over a three-year period between 2010 and 2012.
The girl, who was aged between 12 and 14 at the time, was assisting the man with his business in the Bowral region.

Detectives from the Child Abuse Squad arrested the man on Wednesday and he has been charged with numerous sexual assault offences.
He was refused bail and will appear in Goulburn Local Court on Thursday.
