Trio on the run after series of smash-and-grabs at Sydney businesses
A masked trio is on the run after a series of smash-and-grabs across local businesses in Sydney's south early this morning.
The group first started at a pharmacy in Oatley just before 4am.
CCTV captured them as they smashed the front door with their feet and ransacked the business, taking the cash register with them.

Next, they hit another family-run chemist in Peakhurst, smashing the door before moving on to a bigger target, the Lugarno Shopping Village on Forest Road.
They broke into a butchery and stole $1000 in cash before moving on to another pharmacy where a security monitor was punched and prescription pills swiped.
A hair salon was next on their hit list when someone heard the ruckus and called police.
"All of a sudden I heard crashing and glass breaking and my brother yelled out to me 'call the cops, I think someone is downstairs'," witness Deekin Cohen said.

Members of the St George community told 9News they have been left rattled by the brazen break-ins, with most of the damage impacting small and family-run businesses.
"You feel violated..you have no control over it," pharmacist Warren Del-Grande said.
"The fact that we have lost half of the morning... is going to cost us dearly," butcher Murray Fleming said.
NSW Police confirmed it is aware of the break-ins and is investigating.
