Search for $2.5m lotto winner who bought ticket on Gold Coast

A Gold Coast resident or recent visitor is a multi-millionaire but doesn't yet know.

Somebody from the area - or who was visiting - scooped more than $2.5 million in the weekend's Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

The mystery ticketholder was one of the eight division one winning entries.

Officials are waiting for the ticketholder to get in touch.

They bought their entry at TSG Reedy Creek, at 1 Kingsmore Boulevard, Reedy Creek.

Shop owner Nishchint Singh said the prize was the store's first big winner since it opened six months ago.

"We've started to decorate our store and hang posters everywhere," Singh said.

"Our customers are all very excited, and everyone wants to have a win as well."

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell told locals to check their ticket.

"Whoever is holding this golden ticket may have no idea they're walking around as a brand-new multi-millionaire," Hobdell said.

"Just imagine how thrilling it would be."

"If you discover you're holding the golden ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process."

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4559 on 29 March 2025 were 36, 3, 17, 1, 21 and 41, while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 30.
