Record lottery has biggest ever jackpot in Australia tonight
The biggest lottery jackpot ever on offer in Australia is up for grabs tonight.
The Powerball prize is $110 million, after the bumper prize was not won for the eighth week running.
The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said not only will tonight’s Powerball draw be the nation’s biggest ever division one prize, but it also has the potential to smash another record.

“If one single entry takes home the entire $110 million jackpot tonight, it will be the biggest Australian lottery prize ever won by a single entry,” she said.
“The current record is held by a Sydney health worker who scored just over $107 million in January this year.

“We broke the staggering news to her minutes after the winning numbers were drawn. Will we be doing the same tonight?”
The Lott claims up to one-in-three Australian adults will buy a ticket.
They say last week at 6.44pm, ahead of the 7.30pm deadline, more than 4700 entries were sold in 60 seconds.
