Logan man charged over alleged axe attack on neighbours
A Queensland man has been charged with acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm after allegedly attacking his neighbours with an axe.
Police were called to Haig Road in Loganlea, south of Brisbane, at 7.30pm yesterday to reports a man and woman had been assaulted.
It's alleged Craig Rackley, 57, had taken a small axe to his neighbour's home, and struck Tammie Rolfe, 52, and her partner Sean Williams, 40, in their front yard.

Rolfe's 72-year-old mother rushed outside to assist when she heard the disturbance.
All three were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Rackley was charged with two counts of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and his case was mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
The court was told he was allegedly under the influence of drugs at the time of the attack.
He remains in hospital under police guard.
