‘I can be a d---head’: Liam Gallagher on music, family and his brother
I've always been a massive Oasis fan. I love their songs, their attitude, and their rock-n-rollness.
Noel and Liam Gallagher's onstage and off-stage expressions of brotherly "love" have been something to behold over the years and, like millions of others, I was dismayed to see the whole shebang finally implode almost a decade ago.
Liam has of course released a fabulous album, As You Were, and has been in Australia playing a bunch of Falls Festivals, the Hordern and Nova's "Red Room" in Sydney.
He also did a few interviews - one of which with yours truly.
I've seen him in action before where he's ripped a few people's heads off and it was with some degree of trepidation that I rocked up to Sydney's Langham Hotel for a face-to-face encounter with one of rock n' roll's most revered and sometimes abrasive characters.
I'd had to promise I wouldn't discuss his relationship with his brother (oops) and I certainly didn't know what to expect.
Check out the video above for the full, warts-and-all encounter with Liam Gallagher.
