A Perth man who allegedly left his injured three-year-old daughter inside a burning car he had stolen says he's unsure how to plead as he was drunk at the time.

Bevan Stanley Cameron, 25, appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday via video link from Hakea Prison.

He was charged with 10 offences including exceeding 0.08, being armed or pretending to be armed in a way that may cause fear, dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm, being the driver of a vehicle involved in an incident and failing to ensure each victim received required assistance, and stealing a motor vehicle.

"I was intoxicated," Cameron told the court.

"I don't remember the situation.

"I'm not really sure what I should plead."

Cameron was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday while he receives further legal advice.
