A teenage learner driver has been clocked speeding almost 70 km/h above the limit in Melbourne.
Police say the Dandenong man, 19, was doing 147 km/h in an 80 zone when he was stopped on the Dingley Bypass at Dingley Village about 5pm on Sunday with an unlicensed woman, 23, also in the car.
The Ford sedan has been impounded and the teenager will be charged by summons with dangerous speeding, exceeding the speed limit and being an unaccompanied learner driver.
