A manhunt is under way for a group of people who rammed a car off the road and attacked two teenagers in a road rage attack in Lakemba, leaving them both hospitalised.

An 18-year-old and a 16-year-old were driving a Honda hatchback down Yerrick Road in Lakemba at 10pm yesterday when they were rammed off the road and ordered out of the car before being violently assaulted by an unknown man.

Witnesses say the pair were kicked and punched repeatedly, with one having their head stomped on as they were on the ground.

A 16-year-old was behind the wheel of the Honda.
