Labor calls for more support for Fiji

Labor is calling on the Turnbull government to offer more assistance to cyclone-hit Fiji.
"We should be working with the Fijian government to offer financial support and further logistical support if required," shadow parliamentary secretary for foreign affairs Matt Thistlethwaite told reporters in Canberra on Monday.
The government has offered Fiji $5 million in initial assistance and the use of a P-3 Orion aircraft.
