Man charged over alleged stabbing at pharmacy in Victorian beach town
A man has been charged today following an alleged stabbing incident on Victoria's surf coast
Police have been told a man armed with a knife was walking along Zeally Bay Road and Fischer Street at Torquay when he entered a number of businesses about 10.45am yesterday.
It's alleged he then approached a man and stabbed him on Zeally Bay Road.

Staff from the pharmacy said the store was busy at the time of the alleged attack. 9News
The man received a minor injury and was assessed by paramedics on scene.
Allegedly, the man then entered a pharmacy on Gilbert Street where he assaulted a father picking up medicine, with his 18-month-old son in his arms.
They were not injured.
The man ran from the scene before entering a busy Woolworths and later bolting into a nearby park before being arrested a short time later at a home. He was taken to hospital for assessment.

Police said today a 44-year-old Torquay man has been charged with reckless conduct endanger serious injury, intentionally cause injury, assault with weapon and other assault related offences.
He was remanded to appear before court tomorrow.
