First Kmart range of products rolls out across Target stores

Kmart's 'Anko' branded products will appear in Target stores from next month, with shoppers noticing changes to the store already.

Eagle-eyed shoppers this week spotted Target clearing shelves to make way for Kmart's cult-home brand Anko range, while others have already found Anko products in Target stores.

Wesfarmers announced last July that Target operations would merge with Kmart to create a $10 billion discount conglomerate.

The rollout of Anko products was prompted by cost-of-living-pressures, aiming to provide affordable products to customers of both stores.

"As announced in July 2023, Target will be stocking select Anko products from February 2024," a spokesperson for Target and Kmart told Nine.com.au.

"While we are confident customers will like the curation of products, like always, we will continue to test and learn in response to customer feedback."

Anko offers a wide range of products, from kitchenware, bedding, home accessories, carts and crafts supplies, clothes, shoes and more.

Only selected homeware products will appear in Target stores, rather than the entire catalogue.
