Homicide police investigate man's death in Melbourne

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man in Melbourne's inner suburbs.
The man was discovered with critical injuries by emergency services about 10am at a home on A'Beckett Street in Kew.
He died at the scene.

Police have since taken a 56-year-old Kew man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
He remains in hospital under police guard.
Detectives believe both parties are known to each other and the investigation remains ongoing.
