Stolen car driven at 'high speed' before two men killed in Melbourne crash
A stolen car involved in a crash that killed two men in Melbourne's north this morning was seen "travelling at high speeds" shortly before slamming into a pole.
Police believe the driver of the white Hyundai lost control before the crash on Camp Road in Broadmeadows just after 5.30am.
The passenger died at the scene, while the driver died shortly after arriving at hospital.

The white Hyundai had been observed travelling up to 180km/h by both witnesses and police in Fawkner before the incident.
One witness told 9News the impact was so severe, it cut power to the area.
"The engine of the car was ten feet away on the grass," they said.
"You just knew no one could survive that."
Overnight, the Hyandai was spotted twice by police in Fawkner and Broadmeadows, while another driver reported seeing it on the Tullamarine freeway speeding at 180km/h.
Detective Sergeant Daryll Out said it would be "extremely unlikely" for anyone to survive a crash of this nature.
A shotgun and another firearm were also found within the wreckage, he said.
"Certainly when this crash happened, the speed was estimated to be well in excess of 100km/h," Out said.
"We located two firearms within the car.
"The car was travelling at such high speeds both on the freeway and within built-up areas, there's obviously concerns to any of the community living here.
"It's extremely worrying to police that we have got that kind of behaviour (being displayed) throughout the evening."
Camp Road had to be closed for most of the day as the major crash team combed through the wreckage.

Out confirmed the car was stolen from a property in Moama last month.
The two men are yet to be identified.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives remain on the scene.
