Kew man sent to prison for masquerading as a fertility doctor hit with fresh fraud charges
A Kew man who was sent to prison for masquerading as a fertility doctor has been hit with fresh fraud charges.
Raffaele Di Paolo, 65, fronted court today virtually from an Ararat prison cell.
Di Paolo was previously exposed as an unregistered fraud and sentenced to jail in 2018.

Now, two new alleged victims have come forward, saying the Kew man conned them as well.
Between 2010 and 2011, prosecutors say Di Paolo treated the two people while pretending to be an IVF specialist.
He allegedly took $18,000 from one patient and up to $40,000 from another.
Di Paolo admitted taking their money but his lawyers say he denies deceiving anyone.
The 65-year-old said invoices will show the complainants received homeopathic treatment known as "remedies".
He's been given permission for his lawyers to cross-examine his two former patients, next month.
