Karl Stefanovic locks lips with Robbie Williams

British singer Robbie Williams left TODAY Show presenter Karl Stefanovic lost for words after unexpectedly kissing him on the lips on live TV.

Stefanovic appeared star-struck after his attempts to hug the star were met with the warmer-than-expected embrace, ahead of Williams' live performance on the program this morning.

With one hand pressed against his lips, Stefanovic blurted "I just kissed Robbie Williams on the lips".

"I think Robbie Williams actually kissed YOU on the lips," Lisa Wilkinson retorted.

But there were no complaints from Stefanovic who replied "And it was good", much to the delight of the roaring audience of Williams' fans.

The former Take That singer is in Australia to promote his new album 'Swing Both Ways'.
