Titanic composer James Horner killed in plane crash: reports

Oscar-winning composer James Horner has reportedly been killed in a California plane crash.
Mr Horner, 61, is believed to have been the only person on board a single-engine aircraft when it crashed northwest of Los Angeles.

The identity of the person on board has not been confirmed but it is understood the plane belonged to Mr Horner, and his lawyer believes the composer was the pilot, the Daily Mail has reported.
Mr Horner worked closely with blockbuster director James Cameron, winning two Oscars for his composition for smash hit blockbuster Titanic.
