Intruder allegedly breaks into apartment of talkback king, takes phone, bag and takeaway food
An intruder has allegedly raided the home of talkback radio king John Laws, breaking into his apartment as he slept last night.
It’s alleged the intruder entered in the back door around 11.30pm.
Laws was fast asleep at the time and had no idea there was another person inside his apartment.
The intruder allegedly stole a mobile phone, a handbag and some takeaway food before fleeing.
A security guard saw the intruder on CCTV footage and gave chase on foot, eventually detaining him until police arrived and arrested him.
Bradley O’Sullivan, 38, appeared in court today over the incident.
The court heard he was on bail for other charges of theft when he allegedly broke into Laws’ apartment.
All Laws’ possessions have been returned.
