Inquiry to explore govt computer failures

A new Senate inquiry will explore problems with the tax office's online services and other recent government computer problems.
Labor senator Jenny McAllister said it was important the government get value for money out of the $10 billion spent on information and communications technology.
"Labor looks forward to finding out why so many Turnbull government digital projects have failed and what can be done to stop it happening again," she said on Thursday.
