High Court to consider Manus challenge
AAP
An asylum seeker whose claim is being assessed at the Manus Island immigration detention centre is challenging the government's offshore detention policy before the full bench of the High Court.
Mark Robinson SC is representing the Iranian asylum seeker, known as S156, in the case.
He will argue that processing asylum seekers in Papua New Guinea is unconstitutional at a hearing before the High Court's full bench in Canberra on May 9.
