A man has been hospitalised after being hit by a car in Sydney's CBD.

Police received reports of a man being hit by a silver Toyota Sedan on Harrington Street at 11.45am today.

The 82-year-old man was treated by paramedics for leg injuries, before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital for further treatment.

Police received reports of a man being hit by a silver Toyota Sedan on Harrington Street at 11.45am today.  Nine

The 23-year-old driver returned a negative roadside breath test and drug test.

She was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

An investigation into the crash has commenced.

Harrington Street, between Grosvenor Street and Essex Street is closed.
