Superyacht catches fire on Hamilton Island in Queensland
A superyacht has caught fire on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays.
Flames engulfed the luxury boat, with thick black smoke billowing into the air this morning.
Queensland Ambulance were called at 10.44am and headed to the Hamilton Island marina but a spokesperson said nobody was injured.

Queensland Police also rushed to the scene.
It took two hours to contain the flames, and emergency crews are trying to stop the boat from sinking.
No one was on board at the time, but a neighbouring vessel has minor damage from the heat.
Investigations are underway.
Hamilton Island is a luxury holiday destination off the coast of Queensland near Airlie Beach.
