The Great Western Highway is closed to westbound traffic due to a large oil spill on the road. Live Traffic
The Great Western Highway is closed to westbound traffic in the Blue Mountains due to an oil spill.
Delays were expected to be made worse because two road that would normally be used as alternative routes are closed because of a bushfire.

The spill closed one lane of the highway is closed between Medlow Bath and Blackheath.
The bushfire has closed Bells Line of Road and Chifley Road between Bilpin and Lithgow.
Emergency services are on site clearing up the oil spill and drivers are urged to delay travel if possible.
