Man in a critical condition after alleged stabbing on the Gold Coast

A man is fighting for his life after an alleged stabbing at a house on the Gold Coast last night.

Four men aged between 28 and 34 were involved in an altercation on Studio Drive in Oxenford just before midnight.

Police said during the altercation a 33-year-old man allegedly armed himself with a weapon.

Officers found the 34-year-old man out the front of the home with a number of puncture wounds.

He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
