Man charged with murder after man stabbed to death in Gold Coast unit block
A man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a man to death in a unit block on the Gold Coast yesterday.
Members of the public called police to report the concerning behaviour of a man in Dutton Street, Coolangatta yesterday afternoon.
9News understands the alleged offender had walked to a nearby construction site and told workers what unfolded before attempting to flee to Upper Coomera.

Investigations into the alleged stabbing are underway. Nine
Officers found the body of a 57-year-old Coolangatta man with stab wounds at a unit block on that street.
A 27-year-old Coolangatta man was arrested in Upper Coomera just after 2pm (AEST).
He has been charged with one count of murder and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court today.

Two separate crime scenes have been established, in Coolangatta and in Upper Coomera.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam is urged to contact police.
