Five teenagers arrested after pursuit in Sydney's west

A group of teenagers allegedly led police on a wild chase through Sydney's west in a stolen luxury car.

The late-night pursuit started in Mount Druitt and ended with road spikes.

Police first spotted five youths driving an allegedly stolen Audi A4 sedan about 9pm on Saturday in the suburb.

The car had allegedly been stolen late last month.

Police said when they went to pull the car over, it took off, sparking a pursuit through the Mount Druitt.

Officers used road spikes on two occasions to try to stop the car, eventually bringing it to a stop at a roundabout in Emerton.

All five teenagers ran from the car before they were arrested and taken to Mt Druitt police station.

Police alleged the driver of the vehicle was a 14-year-old boy who was on bail at the time of the incident.

The alleged driver was refused bail to face the children's court today.

So too was his 17-year-old passenger, who police said had four outstanding warrants against him.

The car was was reported stolen from an address in Beverly Hills in Sydney's south last month.
