One person killed in rural Victoria car crash

A man has died in a car accident in rural Melbourne overnight after coming off the road and crashing into a tree.

First responders arrived at the scene on Bendigo-Tennyson Road in Huntly North at 6:40pm last night after receiving reports about a crash.

Officers arrived at the scene, but the man was unable to be revived.

The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to determine the circumstances of the crash.
