Search for hang-glider missing off NSW coast
A man is missing after reportedly losing altitude while hang gliding off the NSW Mid North Coast.
The 59-year-old took off at Lindeman's Point near Forster yesterday afternoon and has not been seen since.
A multi-agency land and water search is being concentrated to an area off the Booti Booti National Park.

However the search has proved challenging, with difficult conditions. A volunteer crew has been stood down after a six-hour search today.
"Unfortunately, conditions deteriorated offshore and the crew has returned to base after conducting a parallel line search from Lindeman Cove to Blueys Head alongside the Water Police," Marine Rescue NSW Inspector Courtney Greenslade said.
"Marine Rescue NSW volunteers remain on standby to further assist the search, should they be requested by NSW Police Marine Area Command."
