'Australia has lost a giant': Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku has died aged 101
Australian Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku has died at the age of 101.
Eddie Jaku, well known for his inspirational book, The Happiest Man on Earth, was described by Prime Minister Scott Morrison as "an inspiration and a joy".

"Sadly Eddie has passed away, aged 101," Mr Morrison wrote.
"Having survived the Holocaust, Eddie chose to make his life a testimony of how hope and love can triumph over despair and hate.
"He was an inspiration and a joy."
The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies also confirmed the news on Facebook.
Chief Executive Officer Darren Bark, called Mr Jaku "a beacon of light and hope for not only our community, but the world".
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg posted a photo of him with Mr Jaku and said "Australia has lost a giant".
Mr Jaku was born in Germany and was sent to Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps during World War II.
Both his parents were killed.
He survived and moved to Australia in the 1950s.
He lived at an aged care facility in Randwick with his wife, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, who reported last year he was still driving and volunteering at Sydney Jewish Museum.
In 2019 he gave a TedX talk about his life, and published his popular book in 2020.
