How to work out what major stores will be open on Easter Monday

Easter Monday is coming up and that means a whole heap of confusion with stores across the country either open, shut or operating at different hours.

To make things easier for you around the busy holiday period, we've done the leg work and collated a list of how major stores - Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Bunnings and Big W - will be operating. 

Stores in certain states and territories will operate with varying hours, so it pays to check online or ring to confirm.

What is open on Easter Monday?

All Woolworths stores will be open across the country, aside from South Australia and the Northern Territory which will have a handful of stores open.

Coles will close most of its stores in South Australia. For the rest of the country, all stores will be open with some operating at reduced hours. 

All Aldi stores across the country will be open, aside from South Australia which will still have some stores closed. 

All Kmart stores will be open across most states and territories, aside from South Australia, where most will be closed.

All Big W stores across the country will be open aside while most will be closed in South Australia.

All Bunnings stores will be open.

Most IGA stores will be open across the country and operating at reduced hours.
