Drunk bikie threatens injured crash victim

A drunk Rebels bikie threatened a woman after rear-ending her car and leaving her with spinal injuries, Gold Coast police say.
Police say the bikie was driving a ute when he hit the young woman's car as she waited at traffic lights at Main Beach on Sunday night.
He then threatened the woman if she dared to call the police, officers allege.

The 26-year-old woman suffered internal and suspected spinal injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Police say the alleged bikie had a blood alcohol reading of 0.160.
The 40-year-old has been charged with drink driving and will face the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police expect to lay further charges.
