Driver allegedly returns positive drug-driving test after power pole smash
A woman has had her licence suspended after she allegedly returned a positive roadside drug test following a crash into a power pole in Sydney's south.
Police arrived on Alice Street in Sans Souci to find a white Hyundai Accent had smashed into a power pole at 10.20pm yesterday.
The impact was so strong it snapped the pole in half, NSW Police said.

The 35-year-old woman was given a roadside drug test and allegedly returned a positive result.
She was taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance before being released into the custody of St George Police.
A second drug sample was taken and has been sent to the lab.
Charges are pending on the outcome of the secondary test results.
The woman's license was suspended for 24 hours.
It's understood there was no one else in the car, which is believed to be used as a rideshare vehicle, at the time of the crash.
