Man bitten by dog before neighbour dispute breaks out in Sydney's south-west
A man has been injured in a dog attack in Sydney's south-west, leading to a dispute with neighbours.
An American akita attacked a 30-year-old man at a home on Flinders Street, in Georges Hall.
He suffered significant but not life-threatening injuries to his legs and forearm, NSW Ambulance said.

A 58-year-old woman also sustained minor injuries to her hand.

"The scene was heightened, [you had] a patient that was in distress and had suffered an injury, that was stressful for both the family and the bystanders," NSW Ambulance inspector Mathew Johnston said.
The man is in a stable condition at Liverpool Hospital.

Canterbury-Bankstown Council rangers attended the home today to investigate the attack.
The dog had been microchipped but not registered, the council said.
The dog was sedated at the home and taken to a holding facility. The council has not said what will happen to the animal.
There had been no previous incidents or reports about the dog.
