Doctors can report detention abuse: ABF

Claims that doctors will be prevented from reporting abuse in immigration detention centres are wrong, officials say.
In a joint statement on Tuesday, the immigration department and the new Australian Border Force said individuals won't be prohibited from reporting and are legally obligated to do so.
"They have an unambiguous obligation to report such incidents and concerns," said the new Australian Border Force commissioner, Roman Quaedvlieg.
