An air and land search is underway for a woman who has been missing in the Northern Territory's Kakadu National Park for a week.

Jessica Louise Stephens, 35, is believed to have travelled to Kakadu National Park last Thursday and camped near Nourlangie Rock.

She has not contacted her family since.

Police and park rangers scouring the area have found Stephens' vehicle but are yet to come across any trace of her.

Northern Territory Police said in a statement they hold concerns for the camper's welfare

Anyone who believes they may have seen Stephens, or has information about her whereabouts, is urged to contact police on 131 444.
