Revamping the 'slip, slop, slap' anti-cancer campaign as part of Labor's overall cancer fighting strategy.

WHAT MADE NEWS:

* Peter Dutton finally apologised for attacking his Labor opponent Ali France for not living in the electorate. France had a leg amputated after a car accident in 2011 and hasn't been able to find a wheelchair-accessible home in the Brisbane seat of Dickson.

* Labor Curtin candidate and pro-Palestine campaigner Melissa Parke quit after she reportedly said she saw a pregnant refugee forced to drink bleach at a Gaza checkpoint.

* Three Liberal candidates in safe Victorian Labor seats were disendorsed after two of them had dual citizenship problems and one has a public service job.
