Magnitude 7.5 earthquake felt in Darwin, Northern Territory
An early morning earthquake has been felt in Darwin in the Northern Territory.
The undersea quake is reported to have been 7.5 magnitude in strength and happened in sea off Indonesia, north of Timor Leste.
Almost 2000 people reported they felt it according to Geoscience Australia.

Geoscience Australia said the epicentre of the quake was about 250km north-east of Dili and 50km east of Indonesia's Maluku islands in the Banda Sea.
There is no threat of a Tsunami and no reports of building damage have been made.
