Body found in search for missing cyclist in Brisbane's Toohey State Forest, with pet dog found waiting nearby

Police have found a body believed to be that of a missing cyclist in Brisbane's Toohey State Forest, and also found the man's pet dog waiting nearby.
Initial investigations suggest the 42-year-old cyclist had a cycling accident in the Salisbury park, the Queensland Police Service said in a statement.
Police and SES teams searched the forest today, and found the body of a man as well as the cyclist's missing dog waiting nearby.
"The man’s dog stayed with him and was not injured," police said in a statement.
The cyclist, Peter Jacobson, was reported missing after he and his brindle Staffordshire terrier left for the forest but failed to return about 11pm.
