Man trapped under train in Sydney's south
A man has suffered serious injuries after being struck by a train in Sydney's south this afternoon.
The man suffered a fractured leg, pelvic injuries and a head injury after being hit by a passenger train in Caringbah just after 2pm.
Emergency personnel worked to free his leg from under the train.
The man, in his 20s, has been taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition.

A NSW Police spokesperson told 9News they do not know why the man was on the train tracks.
The accident caused delays on the Cronulla line for more than an hour.
"Due to a person injured by a train at Caringbah, some services are experiencing delays and may have changed stopping patterns," Sydney Trains tweeted.
Rail replacement buses took passengers between Sutherland and Cronulla.
The service has now resumed.
