Multiple charges against alleged driver in fatal Melbourne crash
A man has been charged over a crash that killed two teenagers in Melbourne's south-east on the weekend.
Police say Dylan Cassidy, 20, was behind the wheel of an allegedly stolen blue Holden Commodore when it crashed on the South Gippsland Highway near Camms Road in Cranbourne on Sunday.
Two of the five passengers in the car, Byron Hampton, 16, and Jordy Kirkwood, 18, died at the scene.

Another girl, 16-year-old Dakoda Nicholson, is in hospital with critical injuries.
Another passenger in the car, 18-year-old Jack Ledlin, was also charged with car theft and received minor injuries in the crash.
Mr Cassidy allegedly tried to run from the scene but was stopped by a witness and taken to hospital.
Detectives investigating the crash have charged Mr Cassidy with dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing serious injury, five counts of reckless conduct endangering life and offending while on bail.

The Frankston man has also been charged with over 40 offences relating to multiple other car thefts, aggravated burglary, deception offences, criminal damage, arson and breach of bail conditions during July and August.
Mr Cassidy was refused bail and is scheduled to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
