Children discover body of man fallen from cliff at popular Sydney swimming spot

The sound of emergency crews rang through Sydney’s eastern suburbs after a man’s body was discovered by children at the base of a cliff today.
Helicopters were deployed to Gordons Bay near Coogee for what was sadly a recovery operation.
It is believed a man in his 50s was walking along a cliff track popular with surfers when he tripped and fell, plunging 10 metres to the rock shelf below.

Locals say the path is the quick way out of the surf break between Coogee and Clovelly.
Police are still working out how the man fell, but at this stage it looks like a tragic accident.Share a tip-off, video or photo with us
