Child in hospital after falling out of a window in Sydney

A five-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after falling out of a window at a building in Sydney's north.

Emergency services were called to the Chatswood property just after 6pm yesterday following reports of the fall.

It is understood the child pushed through a fly screen and fell ten metres.

He is understood to have suffered serious head injuries and has been taken to hospital.
