‘I couldn’t save her. She’s gone’: Chicago Fire actress killed in freak accident

Respected American actress Molly Glynn has been killed in a freak accident while riding her bike with her husband in Chicago.
Glynn, most recently known for her work on NBC drama Chicago Fire, was cycling the Forest Preserve Trail with actor husband Joe Foust on Friday when she was hit by a falling tree.
The 46-year-old was transferred to Evanston Hospital but died from her injuries.
Mr Foust posted emotional updates to Facebook following the accident.
A crowdfunding tribute page set up to assist the family has raised over $AUD127,000 since Saturday.
Mr Foust has appeared in the popular NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, while both he and his wife were regulars on the Chicago theatre scene.
In a sad coincidence, the local acting community suffered another loss just hours later, with fellow performer Bernie Yvon, 50, killed in a car accident on his way to rehearsals for a show
